Add a Link to the Order Page on Shopify

After you add notifications for new orders so that whenever customers take the orders from your store, Shopify system will sent you (or your staff member) the notifications about that orders. Moreover, in the notification, Shopify also gives you a chance to add a link to the order page with all the details of the order. Therefore, this post is generated to show you how to add a link to order page on Shopify.

How to add a link to the order page

Step 1: Select Notifications

You log in to your Shopify admin as usual, go to the Settings button at the bottom left of the page. Then, select the Notifications section on the menu.



Step 2: Click on New order

When you get into the Notification page, scroll down until you see the Staff order notifications area. Then, click on the New order in the blue line illustrated in the image below.

Step 3: Add a specific line of code

You'll be moved to the code editor of the order notification. Then, you scroll down until see the {% endif %} nearly at the bottom of the code editor. And add this line above this {% endif %}

You can review details of this order in your shop admin at /admin/orders/.

Step 4: Save

After completing add the line, click on the Save button to apply the changes to your store.
